The NBA is out of season, but there is still great basketball to watch courtesy of the WNBA Playoffs.

NBA fanatics miss watching NBA games, and that makes a lot of sense. What a lot of these sad fans don’t seem to realize is there is still high level basketball being played right now, just in a different league: the WNBA.

The WNBA Playoffs are in full swing, and the games have been fantastic. On Tuesday night, the Atlanta Dream were able to tie up their series with the Washington Mystics after Washington star Elena Delle Donne suffered an injury that luckily doesn’t seem too severe.

Right after that game concluded, the Seattle Storm took a 2-0 lead over the Phoenix Mercury. The Storm’s combination of Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart seems unstoppable, but human flamethrower Diana Taurasi almost single-handedly won them the game with some incredible clutch heroics.

This great basketball has been going on for months, and fans can watch the majority of the games during the regular season for a mere $17. The playoff games have been featured on television, and can be watched the next day on WNBA League Pass as well.

There is some vitriolic pushback against WNBA content, generally, mostly because of toxic masculinity and sexism and all of those horrible things. There shouldn’t be. The competition is strong, the stars are worth watching and the content is readily available. Next time, before you bemoan the lack of basketball, maybe try watching some.
