The fourth weekend of the Premier League is almost upon us. Here are five bold predictions for all the action during matchweek 4.

The Premier League returns Saturday, with Liverpool traveling to Leicester in the earlier kickoff and Newcastle hosting Manchester City in the later match.

There’s a triple header on Sunday with Cardiff hosting Arsenal earlier in the day, Manchester United traveling to Burnley and Watford hosting Tottenham in an early season top-of-the-table clash. Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

1. Pellegrini faces more pressure as Neves helps Wolves to victory

One of Saturday’s matches sees West Ham host newly-promoted Wolves at the London Stadium. Hammers fans might have been expecting bigger and better things this season with the signing of a progressive manager like Manuel Pellegrini.

So far that’s not proven to be true, though, and the Chilean coach has struggled to get his team to gel. The Hammers did get their first win of the season in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night but that was against lower league opposition, AFC Wimbledon.

They were also 1-0 down in that game and it was only turned on its head by Wimbledon having a man sent off rather than West Ham playing particularly well.

In Wolves, Pellegrini’s side have a very difficult task as last season’s Championship winners have shown that they can really play. In their opening two home games they’ve shown this by holding both Everton and Manchster City to score draws.

They lost away to Leicester but Nuno Santo’s side were a tad unfortunate in that match as they created a lot of chances. At the London Stadium chance creation shouldn’t be much of a problem for Wolves especially with the talented playmaker Ruben Neves in their side.

The Hammers defense looks shaky and even when they’ve led in games, the London club don’t look comfortable. Wolves will get the win here and pile more pressure on Manuel Pellegrini, who desperately needs to start picking up points.
