Murray isn’t a quarterback that’s new to playing either. He knows the system and it should be a smooth transition as he takes over the team and becomes accustomed to it becoming his for the season. He’s extremely talented and should be quite the dynamic player for them.

Their first battle will be against Florida Atlantic, led by head coach Lane Kiffin. The Sooners have a tough schedule in 2018 and will face quality opponents along the way. Murray developing a chemistry and continuing to find his footing in the Oklahoma offense will be imperative if they want to avoid any trap games. Nonetheless, the Sooners enter the season once again as the favorites to win the conference as everyone below them aims to knock them off of their throne.
