The LSU Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes are the lone game on Sunday Sept. 2 in AT&T Stadium in Texas, and here is all the information on how to watch.

College football is officially back! The opening weekend features quite a few marquee games that will have the nation’s eyes on them. One of those games is a battle between the Miami Hurricanes and the LSU Tigers. Two ranked teams will once again take the field at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. Both squads have high hopes entering the season and only one will leave Texas 1-0 and a leg up on their hunt for the College Football Playoffs.

LSU will be replacing top-tier talent on both sides of the ball, especially on offense. Ohio State transfer Joe Burrows will get the start at quarterback and look to provide stability to a position that has long been the Tigers’ demise. Defensively, LSU will once again boast their typical elite talent on all levels of the field. That is always the team’s strength and head coach Ed Orgeron will rely on them to carry the team.

The Miami Hurricanes are sitting in the top 10 of preseason rankings for the first time since 2005. That is no surprise since they are coming off their first double-digit win season since 2003. It is safe to say that 2017 officially brought Miami back. The Hurricanes will look to break out the star of college football’s previous season, the “Turnover Chain”. There is talent for Miami coming back, but they will need to replace their defensive line depth in a hurry against a talented LSU running game.

AT&T Stadium and it’s 80-yard screen will be on display Sunday night for this top 25 game on ABC. Fans will be able to tune into ABC directly or watch the game on WatchESPN where they will need to sign in with a cable or satellite subscription. Alternatively, FuboTV gives fans another option that requires registration for a paid subscription, but you can start with a free seven-day trial.

Details for Sunday’s game is below.

Date: Sunday, Sept. 3
Start Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

The only game Sunday night will feature two of the country’s best. LSU and its transfer quarterback will need to come together early. Miami will look to repeat their early season success from a year ago. This is shaping up to be the best game of the opening weekend of college football.

Next. MVP for every preseason Top 25 team. dark
