NFL Week 1, 2018: Odds for each game
Heading into Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season, here are your betting odds for each game.
The proverbial floodgates have been opened, with a federal court opening up legal sports betting in all 50 states a few months ago. A few states have already push through legislation to create avenues to make legal sports bets, and in time all 50 states will surely see the great revenue possibilities in sports betting. In terms of volume of bets, the NFL stands to become king and try to get their piece of the pie.
Week 1 of the 2018 NFL regular season is now just days away, with the Thursday night kickoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Via our friends over at OddsShark, here are the betting odds for every Week 1 NFL game (as of Sunday morning, Sept. 2.)
Thursday, Sept. 6
Falcons at Eagles (-2.5)
Sunday, Sept. 9
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints (-9.5)
San Francisco 49ers at Minnesota Vikings (-6)
Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens (-7)
Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at New York Giants
Houston Texans at New England Patriots (-6.5)
Tennessee Titans (-1) at Miami Dolphins
Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts (-3)
Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5) at Cleveland Browns
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers (-3)
Washington Redskins at Arizona Cardinals (EVEN)
Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos: (-3)
Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers (-2.5)
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-7.5)
Monday, Sept .10
New York Jets at Detroit Lions (-6.5)
Los Angeles Rams (4.5) at Oakland Raiders
They say home field is good for a -3 spread, and that holds up here with only three road teams currently favored in Week 1. A fourth is easy to see coming in the Rams, over the Raiders in the Monday night night cap. But otherwise, these spreads may not move much.
