The college football season is headed into Week 2 and the AP Top 25 has been released. Which teams come away as the biggest winners and losers?

What a week of college football to start the season. Sure, Week 0 happened, but the games in Week 1 were far more intriguing than a premier matchup that pitted Colorado State against Hawaii.

No disrespect to Hawaii or Colorado State, but that matchup doesn’t quite create the same amount of intrigue as Alabama vs. Louisville, Washington vs. Auburn, Michigan vs. Notre Dame, LSU vs. Miami or Florida State vs. Virginia Tech.

It was an exciting week for fans everywhere who have waited eight months for the return of the best sport around.

We knew everything was right with the world when Alabama took the field against a seemingly tough Louisville team and beat the Cardinals 51-14. It wouldn’t be a college football season if Alabama wasn’t beating good teams by 30-plus points.

The SEC showed off again as LSU dominated a Miami team that was ranked No. 8. No one was surprised to see the Tigers get a nice bump up in the rankings for Week 2.

Speaking of movement, some teams were so lucky. Even teams that ended up winning dropped slightly, but teams that lost really felt the pain.

Take a look at our biggest winners and losers from the Week 2 AP Top 25.
