The Buffalo Bills do not figure to make much noise this season, and if they do land the No. 1 overall pick next April, look for them to go defense.

We are only a day away from the 2018 NFL regular season, as the Philadelphia Eagles will play host to the Atlanta Falcons inside Lincoln Financial on Thursday Night Football. The Eagles are coming off an improbable victory in Super Bowl LII, where backup quarterback Nick Foles shredded the New England Patriots en-route to being named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

Throughout the regular season, we will be putting together an NFL Mock Draft for next April’s 2019 NFL Draft. The order, and players will change throughout the season, and as needs are made more apparent, there is going to be a lot of moving and shaking all season long.

We start in Buffalo, where the Bills are the favorite to earn the top draft pick in the 2019.

1. player. 16. . Edge. Ohio State. Nick Bosa

The Buffalo Bills officially announced on Monday that Nathan Peterman would be their starting quarterback in Week 1 of the NFL season, as he beat out 2018 first rounder Josh Allen. Allen has the talent to be a solid signal-caller in the NFL one day, but he was just not ready to take over the franchise, and should benefit from some extra time on the bench.

Whether Allen or Peterman starts, this team is going to struggle this season, as they just have way too many question marks on both sides of the ball. One big question mark is on the edge, where 2016 first rounder Shaq Lawson just has not worked out, and the time has come to invest another first round pick in the position.

Nick Bosa from Ohio State is an absolute monster on the edge for the Buckeyes, and he got off to a fast start to his 2018 season. Bosa scored his first touchdown of his career, racked up two sacks, and led the Buckeyes to an easy victory over Oregon State. He is going to go early in the first round next April, and the Bills would be a perfect landing spot for him.
