Legend Danny DeVito was recently interview about by The New York Times about season 13 of the series and was asked what he loves about playing Frank:
"I don’t know what it is about Frank. He’s got the Midas touch, but he misses living in squalor. Frank was a hippie in the early ’60s. He shared beds and futons or whatever the hell they had in crash pads. That might be the most romantic time of his life."
Last season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia concluded March 8, 2017, over a year has passed between seasons. The series has already been renewed for a fourteenth season. Actor Charlie Day has previously told The Wrap the show will reach a season 15 to break the the all-time television comedy record for longest running live-Action American comedy series.
"I think 15 is the record for a comedy, so I imagine we’ll all want to hold the record for the longest-running comedy in America. Fifteen would be the record for the longest live-action comedy, so we’ll probably try and break that record if we can."
