12. Cam Newton

When it comes to Newton, you hav to live with the inaccuracy because you get a special athlete who makes plays every Sunday. The Carolina Panthers would surely love to see his completion rate climb above 60 percent on an annual basis, but if the wins keep coming, it’s not a huge concern.

11. Kirk Cousins

No quarterback has been talked about more since the beginning of free agency than Cousins. After spending six years with the Redskins, Cousins is hoping to lead the Minnesota Vikings to their first title. Considering the weaponry around him and the stats he put up with a middling Washington team, one would imagine a big year is in the works.

10. Andrew Luck

How do you evaluate Luck? He has incredible talent and one of the best arms in league history. He’s also been hurt with a barking right shoulder for more than a year. At this juncture, the assumption is he’s healthy and ready to go for the entire season in Indianapolis until proven otherwise.

9. Deshaun Watson

If Watson can pick up where he left off as a rookie, both he and the Houston Texans are going to have a tremendous campaign. Watson only played in seven games before tearing his ACL but managed to throw 19 touchdowns while dazzling with his athleticism. Watson has to cut down his interceptions and (eight last year) but the tools are there to become one of the game’s best.
