We made it—it’s Week 1 of the fantasy football season and it’s time to get that first victory.

For a lot of us, we opted to go the route of drafting a quarterback later in drafts while others spent the higher draft picks on big names such as New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady or Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Here, we’ll look at 10 guys who could quite possibly fit the bill for your lineups in Week 1 of the fantasy football season.

10. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Now I know that Nathan Peterman was named the Bills starting quarterback and I know the Bills are facing the Baltimore Ravens—a stout defense—in Week 1, but this has Deshaun Watson 2.0 written all over it.

What do I mean? Remember last year when the Houston Texans pulled Tom Savage after just one half of football in the very first game? Yeah, I could see that happening here.

Lets call a spade a spade: Peterman is horrible at NFL football. Plain and simple.

To play Allen Week 1 hoping for that is ludicrous, I know, but maybe he’s a DFS dart throw if you put in a lot of lineups.

After all, the Ravens are without cornerback Jimmy Smith and it’s not like they’d be super prepared for Allen to come in.

Plus, Allen is talented and what not.

9. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With Jameis Winston riding the suspension train for a few games, the Buccaneers have summoned Fitzpatrick to do their bidding for the time being.

And in Week 1, he scores a date with a New Orleans Saints defense that is markedly better than years past.

Now, with Fitzpatrick you’re not going to expect him to light up the scoreboard, but he could be playing from behind against a Drew Brees led Saints offense.

With wide receivers Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Chris Godwin and tight ends Cameron Brate and OJ Howard in tow, Fitzpatrick has the weapons to at least put up serviceable numbers in Week 1.
