Italy face Poland at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Friday, Sept. 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Having been appointed after Italy failed to qualify for a World Cup for the first time in more than half a century, new manager Roberto Mancini has shown that he isn’t afraid of blooding youngsters. As many as four players are set to make their international debuts for the Azzurri against Poland, including Roma’s 19-year-old midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, who is yet to even appear in Serie A. Nonetheless, there’s likely to still be an experienced spine to the team, with Giorgio Chiellini – who will captain the side in Gigi Buffon’s absence – partnering Leonardo Bonucci in the center of defense and Mario Balotelli, Andrea Belotti or Ciro Immobile starting up front. The biggest intrigue is over who will be selected in midfield, with Marco Verratti injured and Daniele De Rossi dropped, leaving Jorginho as the only obvious starter.

While Poland did at least make it to the World Cup, they put on an awful showing in Russia that saw them fail to make it out of their group. Manager Adam Nawalka resigned in the wake of that failure, and this will be the first game for new coach Jerzy Brzeczek. Nonetheless, Poland can take comfort from their fine form during qualification for the World Cup, which saw them earn more points than eventual champions France. Although Lukasz Piszczek has since retired from international football, the Polish line-up in Bologna should be filled with familiar names such as captain Robert Lewandowski and Napoli pair Arkadiusz Milik and Piotr Zielinski, along with Moncao’s Kamil Glik and Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny. The Polish players should be on familiar ground as well, with no less than eight of them plying their trade in Italy’s Serie A.
