We are heading into Week 3 of the college football season already but let’s take a look at what the newest AP Top 25 could look like after Week 2.

Saturday was a big day for college football and not only because it was the second edition of the 2018 season’s weekend slate, but because there were plenty of top-tier games to monitor.

First, there was the matchup between Oklahoma and UCLA. The Sooners were 30-point favorites on their home field, which seemed steep, but they nearly covered, blowing out Chip Kelly and the Bruins in the second half, 49-21. The former Oregon head coach is still looking for his first win with the Bruins.

Then we almost witnessed Notre Dame suffer a major hangover against Ball State at home after beating Michigan a week ago. The Fighting Irish looked like a completely different team but pulled out an eight-point victory.

Nick Fitzgerald and Mississippi State went on the road to take out Kansas State, Michigan rebounded from a Week 1 loss to the Irish by walloping Western Michigan and Miami did the same to Savannah State after losing to LSU last week.

The nightcap changed a lot in the rankings as Clemson and Texas A&M battled it out, Florida had trouble with Kentucky, Stanford and USC played their annual rivalry game, Penn State and Pitt went down to the wire and Michigan State looked to give the Big Ten its first win at Arizona State.

Take a look at what the AP Top 25 should look like after Week 2.
