Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season is approaching us quickly, and the one thing on everyone’s mind is if NFL RedZone will be free for Week 1?

Football fanatics, grab your favorites snacks and your Lay-Z-Boy, because the NFL is officially back, baby!

While Thursday was the official start to the 2018 NFL season, it truly doesn’t get underway until Sunday, when all of the teams will be in action to chase after the Vince Lombardi trophy and earn the right to be crown the Kings of the NFL.

For the fans, this is like a national holiday (and it should be one), and you better believe that all of the good chips have already been taken. The only remaining question on the minds of fans is the NFL RedZone, and will it be free for Week 1?

Well, the answer to that question is kind of complicated, and you can thank Big Cable for this.

For those few poor lost souls who still haven’t heard of the wonders of NFL RedZone, it’s a channel that will allow the viewers to watch any NFL game at any time. For instance, when you go to a sports bar, and you see all of the TVs have on a different game?

That’s NFL RedZone.

So, know that you’re caught up, let’s get to the answer to that burning question.

In essence, it all depends on your cable provider. If you have Xfinity/Comcast, then they will be offering RedZone for free in Week 1. but we’re not really sure about the other cable providers out there, so we recommend calling your cable provider to see if they will offer Week 1 for free.

Now, you don’t really need to have cable to watch NFL RedZone. If you have internet, you’re in there with Fubo TV. You can sign up for a 7-day trial, which will allow you to get Week 1 for the cost of air — nothing.
