Season 8 of American Horror Story is upon us, and it’s time for the highly anticipated crossover between season 1’s Murder House and season 3’s Coven. In American Horror Story Apocalypse it’s the end of the world as we know it, but nothing is fine.

And nothing will ever be fine again.

Worlds collide in season 8, and even though both worlds deal with ghosts and demons and things that go bump in the night, that doesn’t mean that all ghosts get along with each other.

Aside from this tantalizing trailer there are precious few details about what will happen in the season premiere. The show takes place in the near future and almost all of the cast members are back from the two seasons. Some are reprising their Murder House roles, some are playing their Coven roles, some are playing new roles and a few cast members are playing a combination of all three. It’s going to be a lot of fun to see everyone “back” in action now that time has passed.

Some old friends are returning this season along with some new additions. Most notably, Jessica Lange will return as Constance Langdon, surrogate mother to Vivien Harmon’s (Connie Nielsen) surviving twin, aka the Devil Child. Joan Collins joins the cast as Evan Peters’ grandmother. It’s going to be epic.
