Hopefully everyone cashed in during week one of the fantasy football season and especially those of use who set a FanDuel lineup.

It’s important to take a bow when you do well projecting a daily fantasy football lineup. Last week, my projected lineup did great and won me some cash. My under the radar plays like Eric Ebron and Mike Williams paid off.

The same can be said for my higher end picks like Todd Gurley, Joe Mixon and Michael Thomas. Mixon looked excellent in week one which is a trend I expect to continue.

Thomas’ performance wasn’t much of a surprise as he’s one of the top fantasy receivers in the league. His FanDuel cost matched the exceptions which is why having a few lower-cost players produce is key.

The fantasy football world is a crap-shoot which means that I don’t count on having this type of success each week. However, this was a good start and I feel very confident about my Week 2 lineup.

This week there are several great lower-cost options that should help you set your lineup. The quarterback position especially has some intriguing matchups.

There are also some good value plays at the running back position which should help you spend big in other spots. This week, I spread my salary cap space around a little more rather than going heavy on stars.

Gurley still made my lineup, but I even had some reservations about putting him in the lineup do to another attractive option available.
