Start: Caleb Sturgis, Los Angeles Chargers

@ Buffalo Bills

If possible, I’m going to target every kicker who’s facing the Buffalo Bills each week. Buffalo is just a bad football team who has major problems on both sides of the ball. Bad teams like this surrender a ton of points which is great for kickers.

Caleb Sturgis has a great matchup for fantasy purposes. The Chargers should be able to easily move the ball against the Bills putting Sturgis in line to kick some field goals.

Buffalo’s issues on offense means that the Chargers should dominate the time of possession. This will provide Sturgis even more chances to score some fantasy points. Sturgis also brings something to the table as he’s a solid kicker in his own right.

Sit: Matt Prater, Detroit Lions

@ San Francisco 49ers

Things could quickly go from bad to worse for the Detroit Lions. This week they travel to San Francisco to take on a team that gave the Minnesota Vikings a run for their money. Detroit is operating on a short week where they have a ton of things to fix.

I’m keeping most of my Lions on the bench until we figure out if Monday night was an outlier. The problems in Detroit could be a lot bigger than we realize.
