Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins (-5.5)

Tough to pick Indianapolis (0-1) here. The roster isn’t strong anywhere but quarterback, and the Redskins (1-0) are very tough in the trenches with a quarterback who doesn’t make mistakes. Hard sell for a Colts win.

Pick: Washington 26, Indianapolis 16

Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers (-4)

Both teams should just deactivate their punts in lieu of another receiver. This game will be the most entertaining of the week, with both Kansas City (1-0) and Pittsburgh (0-0-1) sporting great offenses. The game likely comes down to who makes the big play late, and with the Steelers at home, I’ll take them.

Pick: Pittsburgh 42, Kansas City 37

Los Angeles Chargers (-7) at Buffalo Bills

Los Angeles (0-1) has to win. Buffalo (0-1) is already on its second quarterback.

Pick: Los Angeles 31, Buffalo 10

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (-3)

Are the Jets (1-0) legitimate? Sure looked like it in that hammered of Detroit. The defense should be solid, and if Sam Darnold can simply keep the offense on schedule, they’re a sneaky wild card contender. As for the Dolphins (1-0), they got a nice win to start the year. Can they replicate that success?

Pick: New York 22, Miami 15

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (-1.5)

This is the best game of the week. Minnesota (1-0) comes in looking to make an early-season statement. The Packers (1-0) are also looking to take early control of the NFC North. When in doubt, take the better quarterback, especially at home.

Pick: Green Bay 28, Minnesota 24
