Another week of the NFL season is almost in the book and we had a few more Fantasy Football breakout performers.

Last week, we saw several unheralded players have breakout performances in fantasy football. The Denver Broncos Phillip Lindsay was one of those players. He continued his strong start in Week 2 finishing with a 107 rushing yards.

Austin Ekeler also continued to produce and is quickly becoming a must-start fantasy option. He out rushed Melvin Gordon this week and remained apart of the passing attack.

The Los Angeles Chargers appear committed to keeping Ekeler as part of the gameplan. He’s an effective runner who has carved out a nice role in this offense. This offense is way more dangerous with both Ekeler and Gordon involved.

Geronimo Allison had six targets this week against the Minnesota Vikings which was tied for third on the team. He kept pace with Randall Cobb as far as targets, but provided two more catches and 34 extra yards.

Allison is someone to keep an eye on for the rest of the year. He may have a down week or two, but he could reach WR2 potential should Cobb or Davante Adams suffer an injury.

This week’s group of breakout performers has only one repeat from last week. Matt Breida of the San Francisco 49ers deserved to show up on this list again. He’s someone who is quickly becoming a must start in fantasy leagues.

The rest of the players on this list are new and have a chance to be major contributors. They are guys you want to keep an eye on during the upcoming waiver wire period.
