Week 3 of the NFL Season offers some great matchups for your daily and FanDuel fantasy football lineups.

This past week was another solid week for my FanDuel picks. Predicting fantasy football production is hit or miss, but the key for these daily leagues is balancing the good with the back. You also need a little luck when it comes to sleepers or even high-priced stars.

My worst picks of last week were Adrian Peterson, George Kittle and James Connor. Some of the issues here were game flow.

The Washington Redskins were playing catch-up for most of the day against the Indianapolis Colts. This put Chris Thompson on the field more often as he’s the team’s pass catching back. Peterson finished with only 11 carries and three catches.

Connor was in a similar situation with the Pittsburgh Steelers trying to keep pace with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

My biggest hits of the week were Philip Rivers, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chris Godwin. Rivers continued his hot start by lighting up the Buffalo Bills for three touchdowns. He’s someone who has greatly outperformed his fanduel cost so far.

Smith-Schuster took advantage of his 19 targets hauling in 13 catches, for 121 yards and a touchdown. The Steelers pass catchers are must starts from here on out.

Godwin came a bargain price and found the end zone for the second week in a row. Ryan Fitzpatrick has strong control of the Buccaneers offensive attack and has spread the ball around. Godwin will continue to get looks– especially in the red zone.
