Here’s everything you need to know about the Tulane-Ohio State game that marks the return of Urban Meyer from administrative leave.

Saturday marks the return to game action for Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer who served a three-game suspension for his handling of the Zach Smith domestic violence allegations. In his absence, the Buckeyes didn’t really miss him as they’ve looked like one of the best teams in the nation after three weeks. Ohio State is coming off their best win of the season, a 40-28 win over then-No. 15 TCU and have one final tune-up game before beginning Big Ten play against Penn State next week.

Ohio State will host Tulane who is off to a bumpy 1-2 start and are coming off a 31-24 loss to UAB last week. Tulane is led by quarterback Jonathan Banks who has thrown for 651 yards and five scores to only one interception in three games. His top receiver, Darnell Mooney leads the team with 18 receptions for 303 yards and three touchdowns. The Green Wave are relatively balanced on offense with 217 yards passing and 199.3 yards rushing per game, paced by leading rusher Corey Dauphine.

Ohio State will be without defensive end, and potential No. 1 pick, Nick Bosa who underwent surgery to repair a core muscle he injured in the win over TCU. The Buckeyes defense will be tested without him in future weeks, but likely won’t affect the defense vs. Tulane

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins has put himself on the radar for the Heisman Trophy while J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber present a dangerous 1-2 combo at tailback. Ohio State is averaging more than 600 yards of offense and 56 points per game.
