Oklahoma State vs Texas Tech preview, odds, prediction, TV channel, live stream
Texas Tech heads to Stillwater to take on Oklahoma State as Big 12 play opens for both teams. Here is all you need to know about the match-up and how to watch this Saturday.
Two Big 12 foes square off this Saturday night when the Texas Tech Red Raiders travel to Stillwater to face the No. 15 Oklahoma State Cowboys. Both teams are coming off big wins the previous week. The Red Raiders are 2-1 while the Cowboys are unbeaten at 3-0.
For Texas Tech, they are coming off a home victory over Ed Oliver and the Houston Cougars. It was a record-breaking performance for the offense by freshman quarterback Alan Bowman and receiver Antoine Wesley.
Bowman set a new Big 12 freshman record with 605 passing yards while throwing five touchdowns, a record previously held by former Red Raider Patrick Mahomes. Wesley set a new school record with 261 receiving yards along with two touchdowns. After a blowout loss to Ole Miss on opening weekend, Kliff Kingsbury’s team is headed into this one with a lot of confidence after back-to-back decisive wins.
Oklahoma State began the season just on the outside of the Top 25, but Mike Gundy and the Cowboys have climbed the rankings and are looking like contenders in the Big 12 once again. Quarterback Taylor Cornelius has taken over for Mason Rudolph and the offense has not slowed down.
The Cowboys are averaging 590.3 total yards per game and 52.3 points per game so far this season. Oklahoma State has plenty of other weapons on offense in running back Justice Hill and receivers Tylan Wallace along with Jalen McCleskey. Opening conference play at home, Oklahoma State is looking to keep the momentum going to challenge for the Big 12 title.
Saturday night’s game will be televised on FOX Sports 1, meaning this one can also be streamed on the FOX Sports Go app with a TV provider login. As an alternative, fans can also stream this game on Fubo TV with a paid subscription.
