The College GameDay crew will be steering their RV toward Happy Valley, where a clash between Ohio State and Penn State will take center stage.

The College GameDay crew has chosen that its new destination next week will be in Happy Valley, where a clash of college football titans is scheduled to take place.

Next week, the Ohio State Buckeyes, who are looking very much like an early favorite to win it all this season, will head to State College to battle the Penn State Nittany Lions, with the loser all but eliminated from College Football Playoff consideration.

So it would only be natural for the College GameDay crew to head to Happy Valley to cover this game.

The Penn State campus will definitely be electric and there were more than a few happy fans celebrating the news on Twitter when the location was announced.

Yes, both of these schools are ready for next week; but, as always, there were some haters in the mix, and they didn’t hold back their disappointment of the GameDay crew, once again, targeting an Ohio State game.

Hey, of course, we have the love for North Dakota State University. The Bison is 3-0, and are kicking the tail out of all those who come their way. We’re pretty sure that Fargo is lovely this time of the year, but, you have to ask yourself — Is NDSU GameDay worthy?

No, not this week when there is a pair of top-10 teams playing for what amounts to a Playoff elimination game at the end of September. And not when one of those teams is coached by Urban Meyer who will be a big storyline after returning to the sidelines after serving a three-game suspension this week vs. Tulane.
