Week 2 saw the rise of the pass catching backs, big time plays out of the backfield and great performances from the next man up. Who are 10 RB sleepers this week?

We saw the best of the next man up last week. We should see that again this week and some of the backs on this list will not only hope to grow their workload but to make big waves with the carries in Week 3.

Who’s on the list this week? Let’s dive in.

No. 10 LeGarrette Blount vs. New England

If we’re talking deep sleepers Blount fits that role best. What better way to kick off this list than a back going against a former team. Blount got to do that with Philadelphia but now in Dallas why not show out again?

Blount got into a scuffle against the 49ers but with two other banged-up backs in the Lions backfield, he could get a good amount of touches on Sunday. What does Blount do best? Red zone and third down. Touchdown vulture this week? It’s a better week than any for it.

New England struggled against Houston but played well, at least against the run, against Jacksonville. That was without Fournette, but nonetheless. I think Blount could be a target in the red zone if the Lions want to fight out of the 0-2 hole they’ve dug themselves into.
