West Ham vs. Chelsea live stream: Watch Premier League online
West Ham face Chelsea at the London Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Chelsea will look to make it a perfect six-for-six to open the Premier League season when they face West Ham on Sunday. The Blues are off to a rapid start under Maurizio Sarri, and currently sit atop the Premier League table. They thoroughly dominated Cardiff in last week’s 4-1 home win. Eden Hazard earned the match ball with a hat trick, and Willian tacked on a terrific screaming shot for the final goal. Hazard is currently the Premier League’s leading scorer, and Chelsea have been the league’s most prolific team. They’ll be hoping to increase their impressive early season tally against their London rivals.
West Ham have had a nightmarish start to their season, winning only one of their first five games – and losing the other four. If there is a silver lining to be seen, it’s that the win came last week, meaning that they may be in the middle of a reversal of fortune. They were able to defeat an previously unbeaten Everton team that has looked good in the early going, grabbing the all important first three points of the season in the process. Andriy Yarmolenko scored twice for the Hammers in the win, and Marko Arnautavic added a goal to seal the game in the 61st minute.
Chelsea will once again be the favorites this week, based both on recent form and on the talent included within the squad. They shouldn’t overlook West Ham, however, as the Hammers will be looking to build on what was a very impressive performance last weekend.
