Who can help out your fantasy team going into Week 4? We have some under-the-radar names to bail you out.

Primary Add: Tyler Boyd – 23.7% Ownership

Once is a fluke, twice is a trend. Boyd had a big game last week but given his career trajectory and the strange events that happen during Thursday night football, it was hard to bank on it ever happening again. Enter Week 3.

Boyd tore up the Carolina secondary for over 130 yards and a score on Sunday and looked the part while doing it. A.J. Green left the game early in the second half with an undisclosed injury but he fell down grabbing the back of his leg which often indicates a hamstring issue.

Boyd is the clear number two in a revamped Bengals offense that finally decided to run itself through Joe Mixon and stop making things so complicated. Boyd has seen twenty-one targets in three games and has a connection with Dalton when he runs routes out of the slot. He will be a hot waiver pickup this week but he isn’t the sexiest name on the list just yet so you probably don’t have to pay up.

Third-year receivers often breakout in circumstances like this and a lot of people expected John Ross to be the one benefiting from the improved offensive play in Cincinnati. That’s not happening this year so Ross can be dropped right away. Boyd looks like the real deal and he’s worth a decent bid if you need receiver help and could be a lottery ticket if Green’s injury is more serious than initially reported.
