We are again at that point in the week where you need to scour the internet for fantasy football news to create your FanDuel lineup.

Last week my FanDuel lineup really under performed. My suggestion at quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, had an average game and then suffered a season ending injury. Dalvin Cook was a late scratch with a hamstring injury.

The Cook situation was a surprise as most of the week we heard that his problem was nothing more than a cramp.

Jordan Howard was my other running back start and he saved his day with a late touchdown. The Bears fed him the ball but there just wasn’t much running room. Things did get a little crazy with the Bears chasing points early in the game.

Pierre Garcon was a complete no show against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was only targeted four times hauling in just one pass.

Michael Thomas had another great performance and continues to be well worth his FanDuel prices. However, he didn’t do enough to help overcome the misses I had at the other spots in my lineup.

This week I’m taking some risks at the quarterback position. The hope is I can save some cap room to beef up running back and flex. I went really big at running targeting one of the top fantasy options in the league.

Last week, my lineup had too many high upside plays that didn’t pay off. That changed my strategy for his week where I went with a few more proven commodities.
