We have reached the first bye weekend of the Fantasy Football season which always creates more headaches when putting together your starting lineup.

Last week, my sits worked out well with only Carols Hyde having a solid fantasy football day. The likes of Andrew Luck, David Johnson, Corey Davis and Evan Engram all deserved a spot on the bench.

Luck had a solid day, but there were plenty of other options on the table. He is slowly rounding into form and should have better days ahead. The situation for Corey Davis is extremely frustrating.

He is getting plenty of targets, but just hasn’t had that breakout performance. The issue is that the Titans offense is bogged down by poor quarterback play. There might not be a situation this year where it makes a ton of sense to have Davis in your lineup.

This week ahead we have more than a handful of intriguing matchups. The Thursday night game should be great football to watch, but might be a struggle for fantasy football purposes. Both the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams have stout defenses.

The Monday night game could be the exact opposite with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Denver Broncos.

In between there are a few teams dealing with major injuries that impact the fantasy status of several players. It makes sense for everyone to adjust their thinking when it comes to the offensive players relying on Jimmy Garoppolo.

His injury has sent shock waves throughout the league and the fantasy football world.
