DraftKings NFL: Best lineup for Week 4
By Joe Romano
Defense/Special Teams
Jacksonville Jaguars vs New York Jets $4100
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the NFL’s most talented defense. They are a dominant unit with a All-Pro caliber player at every single level. That is bad news for Sam Darnold and the Jets offense. After a promising start, Darnold showed the same things in college. He is turnover prone and simply young for the position. With Jacksonville at home, that is a recipe for disaster. Darnold will turn the ball over and Jacksonville could see a huge week for their scoring defense.
Los Angeles Chargers vs San Francisco 49ers $3900
The Chargers defense has been solid after a rough week against the Chiefs. Even without Joey Bosa, the team is a strong unit that has generated turnovers when it matters. Now they face a San Francisco offense that was underwhelming before. Without Jimmy Garoppolo, things are only going to get worse. The Chargers will be a trendy pick and it is hard to go wrong with either of the top options this week.
Value Defense/Special Teams
Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals $3200
The fifth ranked defense this week is the Seattle Seahawks. That is a great spot considering they are going against the worst offensive line in the NFL with a rookie quarterback making his first start. Seattle is far from the Legion of Boom days. They can still attack the quarterback and Earl Thomas is proving why the team should have paid him when they had the chance. Seattle is going to give Josh Rosen and the Cardinals offense headaches all game.
Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers $2600
The ninth ranked defense is the Chicago Bears. Chicago has actually been the highest scoring fantasy defense this year. The only reason they make this list is because it looks like the magic may be running out on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense. Ryan Fitzpatrick was playing above his head and is coming back down to earth. Would Tampa bench him if he struggles like he did early in the Pittsburgh game with Jameis Winston back on the team? Either way, the Bears defense is scary good and this seems like the week they end Fitzmagic.
