Week 4 of the NFL season is upon us. Usually by this time the key players we want to target have come to light. Let’s embark on our Week 4 journey together and figure out the best bang for our buck.

For those who are new to daily fantasy and DraftKings, lets take a look at how to set your lineups and how to navigate through the app. When you open the app there will be a main page. On that main page there will be several sport options to choose from. The option will say “find a contest.”

Select NFL, then you will see three different game styles to choose from. Classic, Tiers and Showdown Captain Mode. Which is a new game style DraftKings now offers. What we want to select is “Classic”. This article covers how you can maximize your teams potential based on the “classic” game style. You will have a $50,000 salary cap and we will show you how to utilize that cap each week.

Once you select classic you will see four contests to choose from. They will tell you the times you have to submit your nine player rosters by, along with the date. You will also see what the “featured” contest is, this will have the word “featured” highlighted in yellow next to it.

After you select a “classic” contest you will see how many games you can choose from, along with entry fees and total prizes. Also, DraftKings will show you how many entries are left per game. After you select your game of choice you will be prompted to create a lineup.

This is where you can utilize this article to maximize your chances at winning. So without further ado let’s hop in and see which players are an optimal choice for Week 4.

Quarterback, Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals $5,400

Andy Dalton has been one of the most underrated quarterbacks heading into the 2018 season. Dalton has played better than what a lot of us thought. Although a rough four interception outing in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. Dalton still managed 352 passing yards and two touchdowns on 29-of-46 passing. Dalton has a much better matchup this week and should continue his starting quarterback ways against a weak Falcons secondary.

Week 4 Dalton gets the 27th-ranked defense of the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are 26th against the pass and 28th against the rush. The Red Rifle will be primed up for a juicy matchup and a “bounce back” game. Throwing for 352 yards and two scores doesn’t usually follow with the phrase “bounce back” opportunity but that’s exactly what this upcoming game is when you throw four interceptions the previous week.

Through three weeks of action Dalton has thrown for a total of 860 yards, eight touchdowns and a league-leading five interceptions. So why is Andy Dalton a high-value play in Week 4? Dalton has averaged 286.67 passing yards a game, 2.67 touchdowns and 1.67 interceptions a game. Dalton also has managed a 63 percent completion rate on the season with 74 total completions and 24.67 completions a game.

Against a very poor defense in Atlanta, Dalton and the Bengals are sure to capitalize on their opportunity to score often and at will. Atlanta has allowed 401.7 total yards a game, 276 passing yards, 125.7 rushing yards and 28.3 points per game. This will allow for a lot of success on the ground and more importantly through the air for Dalton and the Bengals.

Prediction: 300 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception
