Fantasy Football Rankings Breakdown, Week 4
It’s that time of the week where we try to sort out all the Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 4 in the NFL!
Everyone loves Fantasy Football Rankings and it’s that time of the week to do the ranks for Week 4! The ranks definitely look a little odd since we had a Thursday night game with so many fantasy players involved and I’m sorry if your week is already over after that explosion. I’ve seen on Twitter that some players played the Minnesota defense and went up against multiple offensive players. Some scores are already as lopsided as 100 to -2, so hopefully the results are better next week. Let’s get into the ranks!
Quarterback, Week 4
1. Drew Brees, at New York Giants
2. Patrick Mahomes, at Denver Broncos – I’m not sweating the Denver element at all
3. Deshaun Watson, at Indianapolis Colts
4. Ben Roethlisberger, vs Baltimore Ravens – Ben is at home in primetime
5. Philip Rivers, vs San Francisco 49ers
6. Aaron Rodgers, vs Buffalo Bills
7. Tom Brady, vs Miami Dolphins – This feels low for Brady at home, but there’s a lot of quarterbacks on good matchups this week
8. Andy Dalton, at Atlanta Falcons
9. Matt Ryan, vs Cincinnati Bengals
10. Carson Wentz, at Tennessee Titans
11. Matthew Stafford, at Dallas Cowboys – No Sean Lee is such a huge blow to the Cowboys defense
12. Baker Mayfield, at Oakland Raiders
13. Ryan Tannehill, at New England Patriots
14. Andrew Luck, vs Houston Texans – It would be great to see some upside in this spot from Luck
15. Joe Flacco, at Pittsburgh Steelers
16. Russell Wilson, at Arizona Cardinals
17. Eli Manning, vs New Orleans Saints
18. Case Keenum, vs Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs defense is terrible but Keenum hasn’t been great either
19. Ryan Fitzpatrick, at Chicago Bears
20. Mitchell Trubisky, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
21. Blake Bortles, vs New York Jets
22. Josh Allen, at Green Bay Packers – He did show some nice rushing ability last week
23. Dak Prescott, vs Detroit Lions
24. Derek Carr, vs Cleveland Browns
25. Marcus Mariota, vs Philadelphia Eagles – I need to see him healthy before I can rank him all that high
26. Josh Rosen, vs Seattle Seahawks
27. C.J. Beathard, at Los Angeles Chargers
28. Sam Darnold, at Jacksonville Jaguars
Running Back, Week 4 – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Alvin Kamra, at New York Giants
2. Melvin Gordon, vs San Francisco 49ers
3. Ezekiel Elliott, vs Detroit Lions – The Lions give up the most rushing yards in football
4. Jordan Howard, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Gio Bernard, at Atlanta Falcons – The floor with the receptions is incredible for Gio
6. Saquon Barkley, vs New Orleans Saints
7. Tevin Coleman, vs Cincinnati Bengals – Christian McCaffrey just rolled up near 200 total yards
8. David Johnson, vs Seattle Seahawks
9. James Conner, vs Baltimore Ravens
10. Carlos Hyde, at Oakland Raiders – Hopefully the switch to Mayfield opens up running lanes as well
11. Kareem Hunt, at Denver Broncos
12. Leonard Fournette, vs New York Jets
13. Marshawn Lynch, vs Cleveland Browns – I might love the Cleveland offense but I think the game stays close
14. Kenyan Drake, at New England Patriots
15. Lamar Miller, at Indianapolis Colts
16. Alex Collins, at Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh has been tough on backs so far but they always seem to have issues with Baltimore
17. Kerryon Johnson, at Dallas Cowboys
18. Matt Breida, at Los Angeles Chargers
19. James White, vs Miami Dolphins – Sony Michel is going to be a solid option as well, but White should out-score him for at least one more week
20. Chris Carson, at Arizona Cardinals
21. Phillip Lindsay, vs Kansas City Chiefs
22. LeSean McCoy, at Green Bay Packers – Hopefully he can catch 4-5 passes in this one to raise the floor
23. Sony Michel, vs Miami Dolphins
24. Austin Ekeler, vs San Francisco 49ers
25. Jay Ajayi, at Tennessee Titans – Even if Ajayi plays, Tennessee is good against the running backs and have been for a while
26. Dion Lewis, vs Philadelphia Eagles – Philly allows nothing on the ground, Lewis should be fine dar to receptions
27. Javorius Allen, at Pittsburgh Steelers
28. Aaron Jones, vs Buffalo Bills – Aaron Rodgers talked him up against a poor Buffalo rush defense
29. Bilal Powell, at Tennessee Titans
30. Alfred Morris, at Los Angeles Chargers
31. Royce Freeman, vs Kansas City Chiefs – Fingers crossed he falls into the end zone
32. Jamaal Williams, vs Buffalo Bills
33. T.J. Yeldon, vs New York Jets
34. Tarik Cohen, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
35. Nyhiem Hines – Really only if Marlon Mack is out
Wide Receiver, Week 4 – Fantasy Football Rankings
- The ranks are a little condensed since we had no less than five receivers that are fantasy relevant and played last night
1. Odell Beckham, Jr., vs New Orleans Saints
2. Michael Thomas, at New York Giants
3. DeAndre Hopkins, at Indianapolis Colts
4. Antonio Brown, vs Baltimore Ravens – His catch rate is under 58 percent and that’s just not going to stick all year
5. Keenan Allen, vs San Francisco 49ers
6. Tyreek Hill, at Denver Broncos
7. A.J. Green, at Atlanta Falcons
8. Julio Jones, vs Cincinnati Bengals – Can we get this man a touchdown??
9. Jarvis Landry, at Oakland Raiders – Bless ’em
10. JuJu Smith-Schuster, vs Baltimore Ravens – The game should be on Big Ben’s shoulders so that means I want both the Pittsburgh receivers
11. Mike Evans, at Chicago Bears
12. Emmanuel Sanders, vs Kansas City Chiefs – Sanders should smoke this Chiefs defense
13. Will Fuller, at Indianapolis Colts
14. John Brown, at Pittsburgh Steelers – Brown came back to practice and should scorch the Steelers defense
15. Allen Robinson, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
16. Davante Adams, vs Buffalo Bills – Tre’Davious White will have his hands full
17. Golden Tate, at Dallas Cowboys
18. T.Y. Hilton, vs Houston Texans
19. Demaryius Thomas, vs Kansas City Chiefs
20. Sterling Shepard, vs New Orleans Saints
21. Kenny Golladay, at Dallas Cowboys – all three of the receivers for Detroit are starters virtually every week
22. Nelson Agholor, at Tennessee Titans
23. Larry Fitzgerald, vs Seattle Seahawks – Two targets from last week were embarrassing and it shouldn’t happen again
24. Tyler Boyd, at Atlanta Falcons
25. Sammy Watkins, at Denver Broncos
26. Marvin Jones, at Dallas Cowboys
27. Michael Crabtree, at Pittsburgh Steelers – I have very little faith in my favorite team’s defense
28. Amari Cooper, vs Cleveland Browns
29. Calvin Ridley, vs Cincinnati Bengals – We’ll start to see how much of the work Ridley is truly going to get in this offense
30. Mike Williams, vs San Francisco 49ers – He’ll jump even higher if Keenan Allen is out
31. Kenny Stills, at New England Patriots
32. Corey Davis, vs Philadelphia Eagles
Tight End, Week 4 – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Travis Kelce, at Denver Broncos – The Denver passing defense isn’t as good as it has been in past years
2. Zach Ertz, at Tennessee Titans – The Eagles still have a weaker receiving corps even if Alshon plays some snaps this week
3. Rob Gronkowski, vs Miami Dolphins – It always feels a little risky not having Gronk at number 1 but he’s only had 1 great game out of three. I still fully expect him to have a big game, he’s just on the tail end of the major three tight ends
4. O.J. Howard, at Chicago Bears – He might be the safety valve for Fitzpatrick this week
5. Jimmy Graham, vs Buffalo Bills – He’s been better than I thought without any touchdowns yet
6. Trey Burton, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The match-up is great, you just hope Trubisky comes through
7. Tyler Eifert, at Atlanta Falcons – All the snaps and targets are pointing towards a breakout game for Eifert sooner or later
8. Ben Watson, at New York Giants – Did the Giants fix their issues against tight ends or have they just not faced any that are involved in the offense
9. Eric Ebron, vs Houston Texans – It looks like Jack Doyle might miss this week as well and Ebron saw 11 targets last week
10. Jared Cook, vs Cleveland Browns – When Cook is top 10, you know the position is really tough
11. George Kittle, at Los Angeles Chargers – He should be in a pass happy game script
12. David Njoku, at Oakland Raiders – The targets dipped last week but that might just be an anomaly
13. Vance McDonald, vs Baltimore Ravens – I don’t expect the Stiff Arm of Death from McDonald this week, but he’s got a secure role in a good offense
14. Austin Hooper, vs Cincinnati Bengals – Snaps and being in a shootout is all you need some weeks for a start-able tight end
15. Dallas Goedert, at Tennessee Titans – I don’t think last week was a fluke with Carson Wentz back under center
D/ST, Week 4 – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Jacksonville Jaguars, vs New York Jets – Not only are they the number one with a bullet for this week, they might be one of the only defenses you actually fear in football. Minnesota and the Rams haven’t played that well yet
2. Los Angeles Chargers, vs San Francisco 49ers – C.J. Beathard was awful last year so even if he’s improved, it’s likely still not good enough to do a lot against the Chargers
3. Philadelphia Eagles, at Tennessee Titans – The Titans offense has looked dreadful since the start of the preseason and the Eagles are dominant against the run

4. Seattle Seahawks, at Arizona Cardinals – They should be able to force a couple of turnovers from the rookie Josh Rosen
5. Chicago Bears, vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – They can certainly bring pressure but the receivers are extremely talented for the Bucs
6. Green Bay Packers, vs Buffalo Bills – I don’t believe Josh Allen and crew can recreate the magic on the road from last week
7. Cleveland Browns, at Oakland Raiders – They’ve been playing well and should get Emmanuel Ogbah back on the defensive line
8. Detroit Lions, at Dallas Cowboys – This is a bit of a reach since they’re weakness is against the run and they face Zeke but that’s all the Cowboys have on offense
9. Arizona Cardinals, vs Seattle Seahawks – The Cards have had their issues against running backs but the Seattle offense isn’t exactly dynamic
10. New York Jets, at Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jacksonville offense is totally Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but the Jets defense is pretty solid
11. Houston Texans, at Indianapolis Colts – Until Andrew Luck shows some type of upside, it’s hard not to look at the opposing defense
12. New England Patriots, vs Miami Dolphins – Defenses are so difficult this season and this rank proves it because I really don’t like the Patriots defense
13. Tennessee Titans, vs Philadelphia Eagles – The Titans are stout against the run so we’ll potentially see if Wentz is fully back in the saddle this week
14. Indianapolis Colts, vs Houston Texans – The Colts have the fourth most sacks in football and have played better than we assumed in the preseason
15. Dallas Cowboys, vs Detroit Lions – Dallas might be able to hold the ball for around 35 minutes if things go to plan
