Many say that the Golden State Warriors simply can’t be stopped. That may be true, but don’t say that to the following five teams.

It has been said throughout this offseason that there is nothing that will stand in the way of the Golden State Warriors winning their fourth championship in five seasons.

They have a starting lineup that should scare the living daylights out of the other 29 NBA teams — a potential Hall-of-Fame backcourt in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Another future Hall-of-Famer in Kevin Durant. The versatile bulldog in Draymond Green, and the best center in the NBA in DeMarcus Cousins.

Who in the world can compete with that lineup? That’s what makes this slideshow kind of difficult to do.

When scanning the NBA landscape outside of the Bay Area, it doesn’t really look like there are any other teams out there who can really compete on the same level as the Warriors in a seven-game series. However, there will be worthy challengers who will try their best to rise to the occasion, to finally dethrone a team that has dominated the NBA the past four seasons.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the five teams who have the potential to beat the Warriors in the 2018-19 NBA season.

May the basketball Gods have mercy on them all.
