4. Aubameyang and Lacazette help Arsenal demolish Fulham

Arsenal started this season with back-to-back losses, against Manchester City and Chelsea. Since then they’ve managed to keep themselves under the radar and won five league matches on the bounce.

Arsenal’s form may be going unnoticed and the moment because of their recent history of being terribly inconsistent. It won’t be long before that changes but while it’s like this Unai Emery and his side can focus on playing their soccer and winning matches without any added pressure from the media.

One partnership that’s really flourishing in the Arsenal side is that between Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette’s. The two forwards are finally both starting and it’s making a big difference to Arsenal’s fortunes going forward.

The defense will almost always be the problem but right now they’re finding a way to score goals. That doesn’t bode well for Fulham, who’ve not struggled to badly since they came up but perhaps look a little naive.

The Craven Cottage side will have to stay tight at the back on Sunday, but it’s hard to see them keeping the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette out over 90 minutes. The only slight advantage they have is that Arsenal will have had to travel back from Azerbaijan on Thursday.

There could be tiredness issues for Arsenal but their winning spirit will carry them to a comfortable victory over Fulham in which Aubameyang and Lacazette both find the net.
