Both Crystal Palace and Wolves have had their fair share of ups and downs so far, even this early into the season. Both teams will be looking to capture an all-too-important three points in Saturday’s game.
The hosts come into the clash with poorer form, having lost their last game away at Bournemouth. Palace played a hard fought game in the Monday night affair, but poor discipline lead to a late decisive penalty for the Eagles’ foes from the South Coast. Still, Palace are in far better shape than they were at this point one year ago. Seven games into the 2017-18 season, Palace had failed to capture a single point (and had also failed to score in their first seven games), leading to the firing of then-manager Frank de Boer.
Wolves currently find themselves in ninth place, quite the start for a newly promoted team. They come into Saturday’s game against Palace in a good run of form. They’re unbeaten over the course of their last five games, and have also managed to win three of those games. They were able to capture a victory last week against Southampton, scoring twice at home to pick up the three points. Current form suggest they’ll be the favorites in Saturday’s game.
