3. Phaedra Parks

I’m pretty sure that attorney Phaedra Parks was the first of the housewives to get caught up in the law, which is ironic considering her profession and for that, she gets a premium place in the top three housewives.

Parks was already in the spotlight after marrying her much younger ex-con boyfriend and then carried on with the illusions of a perfect life with her two beautiful boys complete with five-star birthday parties and over-the-top baptisms. That all shattered before our very eyes when her dreamy husband Apollo was convicted of bank fraud and ID left sending him to the slammer (again) for eight years.

We were privileged (I think) to watch as the relationship unraveled and Parks ran as far away from her husband as possible.

Parks appeared in seasons 3 through 9.

4. Kenya Moore

TWIRL CHILD!

The housewives never saw Kenya Moore coming, but her arrival in season 5 shook up the wives in a way that no new cast member ever has. She butt heads with pretty much everyone right off the bat and even rubbed the viewers the wrong way (which we all know means gold on Bravo).

She will probably always be known as the one who hired a man to play her boyfriend (allegedly), flirted with one of the castmates husbands (allegedly) and then hired a husband a few seasons later (again, allegedly) but there were also moments where we really saw a softer side to the former beauty queen. Like when we all mourned her beautiful dog Velvet along with her, or when she organized a domestic violence PSA.

As the seasons have drawn on Moore has become an important staple and deserves a spot on top of the list.

Moore appeared as a full-time cast member on seasons 5 through 10 and will appear as a guest for season 11.

5. Sheree Whitfield

Sheree Whitfield has gone through many transformations on the show from badass chick who ripped wide open the secret of Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s wig by quite literally trying to rip it off her head, to the strong woman who confronted her abusive ex-husband on the show and grew into the put-together single mother with a boyfriend in prison.

So yeah, she’s had a lot going on.

Not to mention the scandals that followed her (and still do) stemming from her non-existent clothing line She By Sheree and her nearly 10-year housing project Chateau Sheree.

I would have placed Sheree on the list a bit higher had she not had just a long gap of not appearing on the show and if she hadn’t been such a bore when she finally returned.

Whitfield appeared on seasons one through four and nine and 10 with guest appearances on season eight.
