NFL quarterback rankings, Week 6: Andrew Luck is back

After missing all of last season with a shoulder injury, Andrew Luck is back and perhaps better than ever for the Indianapolis Colts.

This week, and every Tuesday of the season, the rankings are based with a combination of current play and performance of an indicator of what is to come.

J.P. Losman Division

32. Josh Allen (LW: 31)

The Bills have almost no talent to speak of, but Josh Allen deserves this spot regardless. He’s completing 53.3 percent of his throws with two touchdowns and five interceptions. It’s been a horror show for the most part, something nobody could have ever seen coming.

31. Josh Rosen (LW: 32)

Rosen has only started two games, and he’s already notched his first win. The numbers are really ugly in spots, as the rookie is completing less than half his throws, but Arizona receivers aren’t helping by dropping a ton of catchable balls. Rosen has looked the part of a youngster with promise.

30. Blake Bortles (LW: 28)

The Jaguars are Super Bowl caliber everywhere but the most important player on the field. On Sunday, Bortles went out and turned the Chiefs’ much-maligned defense into the ’85 Bears, throwing four interceptions including one that went directly into the helmet of an offensive lineman. It’s never easy for Jacksonville with Bortles under center.
