Last week Modern Family bounced back from season 10’s premiere was an episode featuring Jay and Phil sending Mean Girls/Legally Blonde style classic one-liners back and forth. Gloria tried to figure out if Manny had a real Canadian girlfriend named Sherry Shaker or if he was actually more like Mitchell and Cam as they alluded to. Meanwhile, Haley’s kiss of Dylan had Mitchell revealing his own kiss six weeks with someone else into his relationship with Cam. Mitchell said she should keep it secret from Arvin and Cam was beside himself. Seriously entertaining, fantastic acting from Eric Stonestreet last episode as responds to Mitchell’s fifteen year secret.
Haley eventually returned to Dylan after telling Arvin the truth and having him hang up his video call on her. Though Haley claims she loves “two people.” Manny called up his Canadian girlfriend on video chat and proved to the family that she was indeed real. Phil and Jay stopped the war of sniping words after discovering where the whole feud originated from post-grill vote. Jay realizes toward the end of the episode that they all gathered together for no reason and sends them all home in hilarious Jay fashion!
