Here’s everything you need to know about the ACC matchup between Miami and Virginia, including how to bet and watch online.

Miami is looking to extend their winning streak to six after a hard-fought, come from behind victory against in-state rival Florida State. They have to face an unpredictable Virginia team in order to keep their streak alive.

Miami has been playing solid football since their opening day loss against LSU. Those wins come against an FCS opponent (Savannah St), two Group of 5 schools ( FIU and Toledo) and two subpar power 5 schools (FSU and UNC).

However, the Canes do have a lot of weapons, starting with their star wide receiver Jeff Thomas who leads the team in receptions with 16 and receiving yards with 396. Also with the running back duo of DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer, combining for 803 yards on the season. N’Kosi Perry is playing solid throwing for 646 yards on 56 percent passing through four games, which he started the previous three games.

The defense is led by Shaq Quarterman, Gerald Willis III, and Joe Jackson and they are as fast as anyone in the country getting to the football.  Miamis defense can get to the Quarterback, as they are tied third in the country in sacks with 20 on the year. The Hurricanes are also fourth in the nation in total defense and sixth in defensive efficiency, but those stats are kind of inflated due to the competition they have played.

Bronco Mendenhall’s team is 3-2 on the season and have struggled on offense to get a rhythm going and consistently put together scoring drives. Quarterback Bryce Perkins is playing well on the season throwing for 1,125 yards on 63 percent passing. Their leading receiving, Olamide Zaccheaus is having a solid season with 33 receptions and 501 yards. The offense could do more if the offensive line played better as they struggle to finish drives when inside of the 20.

Defensively, Virginia is having one of their best years in recent history, having a ranking of16th in total defense and giving up 20.4 Points Per Game. They gave up 35 to NC State who was the closest thing to Miami in their first five games.

The Cavs secondary is going to have to keep an eye out for Thomas, who had a knee injury during the FSU game but he was in non-contact drills running full speed in with a knee brace reported by The Miami Herald.  They are going to be tested in the run game as they hope they can contain Homer and Dallas. Miami’s offense is Inconsistent and can be erratic with the ball at times and they will shoot themselves in the foot and Virginia is going to have to capitalize on those turnovers.
