Another tough week for this bettor will not deter us. Week 6 has a lot of surprises in the lines, and this is where it all turns around. Let’s go make some money on the NFL together.

Last week was another crazy one in the NFL. Look no further for the craziness than the Buffalo Bills beating the Tennessee Titans just weeks after they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles. Speaking of the Eagles, they do not look like a defending Super Bowl Champion. The defensive woes of the Atlanta Falcons finally catch up to them, and the Kansas City Chiefs look like the best team in the league.

It’s Week 6 of the NFL season, which means we have five full weeks of NFL games to try and believe we know what’s happening. Think about this, 22 of the 32 NFL teams have two or three wins. At this time last year, three teams had zero wins. This season doesn’t seem to have that dreadfully awful squad now that everyone has a win.

I mean, Andrew Luck looks much better and his team is 1-4. This league has been insane to start, and everyone is still in just about every race. At this point last season, you knew the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants were not going to make the playoffs.

I should not be the person to talk about a bad record. It was a three-week losing streak for the picks, with another five win performance. This week, the lines were a little off. We are going back to basics, and betting against Vegas. Here are the Week 6 picks against the spread.

Last Week: 5-10
Season: 28-42-3

As always, we will use the Westgate lines for reference.

Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5) @ New York Giants

This Thursday Night Football game has two teams that just keep finding ways to lose. The Philadelphia Eagles lost three games by a combined 11 points. The Giants, on the other hand, well, all you need to know is how Sunday’s game against the Panthers ended.

This matchup has the Eagles playing their first divisional game of the season. So far, they’ve faced a pretty interesting schedule. Carson Wentz is trying to come back from his torn ACL. He’s also trying to give Eagles fans another run towards a Super Bowl.

The Eagles have yet to win a game on the road this season. Eli Manning is just so hard to bet with. Watching him throw away games, literally, is frustrating when there is money on the line. The Eagles have been extremely inconsistent, but the Giants are just frustrating.
