Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season has arrived. As the race to the playoffs intensifies, we’ve identified seven key matchups and predictions that will greatly impact the rest of the year.

The sixth week of the season is already upon us, meaning it’s a key stretch for teams to determine what realistic expectations are for the rest of the year. Seven teams with a 1-4 record have all but completely fallen out of playoff consideration already for various reasons, but the rest of the league is scrambling to compete before facing reality at the trade deadline in two weeks.

There are only three intra-divisional games in Week 6, creating opportunities for potential winners to benefit from unfamiliar opponents. We’ll focus on just one of the divisional games, and touch on six other critical matchups on the schedule.

After going 4-3 last week with predictions, we’ll try to correctly predict each key game on Sunday.
