48. Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 185
  • Class: Senior

Deandre Baker received a ton of hype after two strong games in the College Football Playoff. After a review of his 2017 film, there was a lot for him to work on when it came to the nuance of the position. However, in 2018, Baker is living up to that original hype. Baker has two picks already in 2018, and he has yet to allow a passing touchdown in coverage. Many can point to the fact that he hasn’t had much competition to this point, but the traits are there.

He is a strong, physical corner at the line of scrimmage, and he has enough speed and anticipation to recognize routes to stick with receivers. There will still be questions about his ability to handle elite speed at receiver, but zone-heavy teams will certainly pay plenty of attention to Baker as he continues in SEC play.

47. Dawson Knox, TE, Mississippi

  • Height: 6’4″
  • Weight: 250
  • Class: Redshirt Junior

There was plenty of hype surrounding Mississippi tight end Dawson Knox coming into the season, even with a crowded and talented receiver room there. Knox showed he could be the next Evan Engram at Ole Miss with some very good film. However, this season hasn’t gone as planned so far. Knox only has five catches this season, which doesn’t help his case as a top target.

A few weeks ago, however, he put up 79 yards on just two catches, showing he has the explosiveness to his game. Knox looks every bit of a big-time receiving tight end on tape, showing great short area burst to start his routes and when he gets the ball in his hands. He does a good job setting up his routes as well. As SEC play really begins, Knox will get to prove his worth in the Mississippi passing game.
