Constantine: The Legend Continues live stream: Watch online
By Nir Regev
Here’s how you can watch The CW’s Constantine: The Legend Continues special online or the old-fashioned way on your television.
Tonight’s Constantine: The Legend Continues special airs at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. You can catch a live stream of the special with a free seven-day trial from FuboTV, Hulu’s Live TV service, or shortly post-special right on CWTV.com and The CW app.
Tonight’s special is hosted by Constantine himself, Matt Ryan! The actor previously played the the popular character on the short-lived live action series back in 2014. Fans have clamored for Ryan’s return since and he returned to reprise his role in animated form. Ryan made a guest cameo as Constantine on Arrow’s fourth season.
Many casual fans might remember the character outside of the comic realm in the cult hit Keanu Reeves film adaption.
Immediately following the special will be a sneak peek trailer of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
"Constantine: The Legend Continues – With the balance of good and evil on the line, Constantine uses his skills to face the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back where they belong."
As with all shows, tonight’s special will surely be under the microscope ratings-wise. The CE and DC itself likely want to assess the current popularity of the character and its potential for the future. If it’s a success further merchandising opportunities like new video games are likely following.
Obviously, on the same note, a lackluster debut will garner careful consideration as well for the future.
Constantine: City of Demons originally debuted back in March this year on CW Seed with five episodes. It originally premiered at WonderCon 2018 before arriving on The CW’s online streaming platform. The series takes place in the same universe as Justice League Dark.
