High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (at GSW, $8,000) Needs 35.5 fantasy points. If Westbrook is out, George becomes the top option on the Thunder. Even with Westbrook, George is a very strong second option. And with no Carmelo Anthony, we should expect to see more of the Thunder we saw in Game 5 against the Jazz. That means a lot of Westbrook and George doing their thing on the offensive side of the floor. He was an inconsistent fantasy player last season, but I’d bet on him bouncing back in a big way throughout this year. Diagnosis: Could end up with the same, if not more, fantasy points than Durant at a lower salary.

Draymond Green (vs OKC, $7,300) Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Green is a guy who makes a big impact on the boxscore despite not doing much scoring. He’s a low-end triple-double threat every night and boosts his value with his ability to get after it on the defensive end. His numbers against the Thunder last season weren’t good, which is a bit of cause of concern. The Thunder have no problem letting him shoot and that’s not really his strong suit. He’ll get his rebounds and assists, but proceed with caution. Diagnosis: Typically reliable, but the matchup is troubling given OKC’s defense and scheme.
