Fantasy Football, Week 7: Best lineup with start/sit advice
By Dylan Broady
Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams
Todd Gurley has been the most trustworthy fantasy asset in all of fantasy football thus far in 2018. In Week 6 he set a career high in rushing yards with a total of 208 against the Denver Broncos’ putrid defense. Gurley added two rushing touchdowns to make his historic day that much sweeter.
Through six games, Gurley has amassed a whopping 129 carries, nine rushing touchdowns and 623 total rushing yards, which all rank No.1 overall, respectively. Gurley has added 21 receptions, 247 receiving yards and two touchdowns, putting his total touchdown count now at 11.
In Week 7 he goes up against the San Francisco 49ers and their 10th-ranked rush defense. Gurley is a every week player no matter who he faces. On Sunday, he will have no problems against the 49ers who lack a true defensive attack to stop him.
Through six games, the 49ers have allowed 348.4 total yards, 253.8 passing yards, 94.6 rushing yards and 29.2 total points per game. The 2018 season began with a lot of optimism for the 49ers, and then they lost their starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a season-ending torn ACL.
This should be a Rams blowout, with San Francisco not being a real threat offensively to keep up with one of the NFL’s top offenses. Look for Gurley and the Rams to run right through the 49ers on Sunday.
Prediction: 150 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns
