Trey Burton, Chicago Bears

Trey Burton has been a security blanket for the young quarterback Mitchell Tribusky since coming over in the offseason from the defending champions the Philadelphia Eagles. Burton has posted some good consistent numbers in this explosive Bears offense thus far.

Though the Bears fell to the Miami Dolphins in Week 6, they will look to get back on track in Week 7 and Burton will be one of the focal points to get them going early and often. Through five games, Burton has amassed 23 targets and 15 receptions for 199 receiving yards and three total touchdowns. Burton is averaging 4.6 targets per game, three receptions and 39.8 receiving yards per game.

In Week 6, Burton caught four balls for 23 receiving yards and one touchdown, helping the Bears stay alive in a losing effort against Miami. His three receiving touchdowns rank third-overall among tight ends this season. In Week 7 he will go up against a New England Patriots defense that ranks 20th overall and 22nd against the pass.

New England has allowed 379.3 total yards, 268.7 passing yards, 110.7 rushing yards and 24.7 points per game. In Week 6 they allowed a similar offense in Kansas City to score 40 total points and allowed the Chiefs to amass 446 total yards of offense.

Head Coach Matt Nagy who is the Chiefs former offensive coordinator will look to do the same on Sunday and employ his weapons in a similar fashion. Burton looks to have a great matchup this week as he tends to get lost in a offense full of weapons. Tribusky will be looking for Burton early and often come Sunday.

Prediction: 85 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
