Week 7 of the fantasy football season features some tough calls when reviewing the rankings and figuring out who to sit or start.

The fantasy football world is dealing with a loaded bye week which is creating some nerve-wracking decisions. This week the Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks all have off.

More than a handful of owners will be looking to the waiver wire to find a fill in quarterback this week. We will see some interesting lineup decisions with Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson on bye.

My start call for this week’s article is someone who could be available in some smaller leagues. However, there are some other options for owners to turn too.

Mitch Trubisky has had himself a good two-game stretch with the New England Patriots coming to town. His ability to make plays with both his arm and legs helps provide a level of safety to his fantasy value.

With the Cleveland Browns taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baker Mayfield is another streaming option. His play has been steady since taking over as the starter. However, the Buccaneers defense has had plenty of issues which could result in a big game for Mayfield.

The wide receiver position is also hit hard by this week’s bye. Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Davante Adams, Doug Baldwin and Amari Cooper aren’t available.

Even solid FLEX plays like Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Tyler Lockett will be missed. Check out this article to see some of the better start and sit options for the week.
