Start: Frank Gore, Miami Dolphins

vs. Detroit Lions

Frank Gore has seized the top running back spot with the Miami Dolphins. This has been the case for most of the year, but likely only became more stable after Gore’s performance against the Chicago Bears.

He broke out for 101 yards on just 15 carries. His production coupled with the struggles of Kenyon Drake, including a fumble at the goal line last week, means that Gore should continue to get a heavy workload.

The Dolphins are an offensive attack that is looking to play it safe. They want to be able to establish a run game and then take some shots down the field. Gore’s success has allowed them to operate their game plan.

Sit: Keelan Cole, Jacksonville Jaguars

vs. Houston Texans

Things haven’t gone as planned for the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have struggled to move the ball on offense and their vaunted defense has shown cracks. For fantasy purposes, the offense has really spread the ball around keeping just one player from standing out.

This is the case with Keelan Cole who has shown flashes of being a top fantasy receiver. However, he just isn’t getting enough targets to maintain a high fantasy output.
