Week 7 of the NFL Season is here and it’s time to accelerate your winnings. Make these five bets if you want to come out on top this weekend.

We’re proud to report that we went 3-2 last week. That isn’t a huge accomplishment, but it gets us back on the plus side of NFL betting for the season. If you’re stuck with us so far, we appreciate you. Your wallet should as well.

That doesn’t mean we’re satisfied. Now that Week 7 is here it’s time to go on a real roll. This isn’t a great slate of games to bet on, which means we’ve got four normal selections and an over/under wager for you to take advantage of this weekend.

In the end, this isn’t a week to wager your mortgage, but bet enough to take your significant other out to a nice dinner. Make sure you risk enough to buy an impressive bottle of wine. As always, all of our odds are courtesy of Oddsshark.com.

5. Bet the over for Rams at 49ers

We thought long and hard about encouraging you to take the Rams -9.5 on the road. In the end, that’s just a little too high for us. As a result, we’re going with over 52 points instead.

There’s a real chance the Rams just march up and down the field against this 49ers defense. It’s also possible the 49ers offense is going to find a way to score some points on their own. The reason we like the over so much here is that you’re in good shape whether or not it’s a close game or a blowout. The number is low enough that the Rams can come close to knocking it out by themselves.

The only danger here is that the Rams sit back and let Todd Gurley burn up the clock in this game. They did that last week, which gives us the idea that it’s something Sean McVay will want to avoid doing two weeks in a row. Look for Jared Goff to get some deep shots in this one. Take the over and feel pretty comfortable about it.
