3. Back Kansas City -6 at Cincinnati

Everyone around the world of football is patting Kansas City on the back for their narrow loss at New England on Sunday night. Andy Reid isn’t a coach who’s into moral victories. He’s going to want the Chiefs to bounce back with a vengeance on Sunday.

Six points is a pretty healthy margin for a road game against a pretty decent Bengals team, but the Chiefs offense makes that spread seem a lot smaller. This is a team that can play poorly and still score 30 points with relative ease. We’re just not sure the Bengals offense can stick with them in that type of shootout.

When we really break it down, this has all the makings of a high scoring game. The over/under of 58 is also an interesting wager if you want to go over. That clearly favors the Chiefs. If this game evolves into a track meet, it’s hard to imagine the Bengals stopping Kansas City very often.

This is not a game where you should get creative and tease. Six points is a far as we’re willing to go here. A touchdown victory by the Chiefs seems like the most likely outcome. That would give you a narrow, but enjoyable cover. Tread carefully here, but the Chiefs are definitely the way to go.
