ESPN’s College GameDay finally makes its long awaited journey to Pullman this week. The Washington State Cougars will host the Oregon Ducks in a huge Pac-12 North battle.

At long last, ESPN’s College GameDay is finally going to Pullman, Washington. The Washington State Cougars are one of the few programs that has yet to host the show and they have been patiently waiting their turn to host the famous pregame show.

For years, the Cougars have seen support for their program in an effort to bring their show to Pullman across the country. Fans have poured out in droves no matter the city to put up a Washington State flag as a reminder that they haven’t yet hosted.

Now, they’ll get their shot on Saturday. The Oregon Ducks are in town, and that’s a huge Pac-12 North battle with plenty on the line for both programs. Oregon is coming off of a huge win at home over Washington.

The Ducks seem to be in command right now and the Cougars seem to be the last obstacle in their way as they try to make a run at the division and competing for a Pac-12 Championship later this season.

The Cougars, meanwhile, have been impressive in their first season without quarterback Luke Falk. Gardner Minshew has been impressive under center for Washington State and has boasted big numbers in Mike Leach’s offense.

The quarterback duel between Minshew and Justin Herbert is certainly one to keep an eye on this weekend as Week 8 of the college football season takes place. It’s been a long journey to Pullman for the program, and now they’ll finally be broadcasting live from there.
