Fantasy Football Rankings Breakdown, Week 7
We’re back to breakdown all of the fantasy football rankings that you need to know to win your Week 7 matchup for fantasy football!
A trade later in the day Friday shakes some things up this week, along with some key inactive players. Hopefully, you were able to race to the waiver wire to get Nick Chubb after news broke that Carlos Hyde got traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He should see something close to the role Hyde had and hopefully that means Duke Johnson gets some more touches as well. Let’s see where they fall in the running back Fantasy Football Rankings this week.
Quarterback – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Patrick Mahomes, vs Cincinnati Bengals
2. Matt Ryan, vs New York Giants
3. Jared Goff, at San Francisco 49ers
4. Tom Brady, at Chicago Bears – The New England offense is healthy and the Bears defense showed some cracks last week
5. Kirk Cousins, at New York Jets
6. Cam Newton, at Philadelphia Eagles – The Philly defense is tough but Cam has so many ways to score points
7. Baker Mayfield, at Tampa Bay – This defense can’t stop anyone
8. Andy Dalton, at Kansas City Chiefs
9. Drew Brees, at Baltimore Ravens
10. Carson Wentz, vs Carolina Panthers
11. Philip Rivers, vs Tennessee Titans – In London makes the game harder to gauge but Rivers should still be very solid
12. Matthew Stafford, at Miami Dolphins
13. Jameis Winston, vs Cleveland Browns
14. Joe Flacco, vs New Orleans Saints
15. Andrew Luck, vs Buffalo Bills – The Buffalo defense has quietly been playing very well after getting hammered the first couple of weeks
16. Mitchell Trubisky, vs New England Patriots
17. Eli Manning, at Atlanta Falcons – He can only check down to Saquon Barkley but that might be all he needs to do against Atlanta
18. Deshaun Watson, at Jacksonville Jaguars
19. C.J. Beathard, vs Los Angeles Rams
20. Dak Prescott, at Washington Redskins – This is about the point where you don’t really want any of these players
21. Alex Smith, vs Dallas Cowboys
22. Marcus Mariota, vs Los Angeles Chargers
23. Brock Osweiler, vs Detroit Lions
24. Sam Darnold, vs Minnesota Vikings
25. Derek Anderson, at Indianapolis Colts
Running Back – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Todd Gurley, at San Francisco 49ers
2. Saquon Barkley, at Atlanta Falcons – The slight be the first time all year I’ve at least considered not ranking Gurley number 1 that I can remember
3. Melvin Gordon, vs Tennessee Titans
4. Kareem Hunt, vs Cincinnati Bengals – He’s been heating up
5. Joe Mixon, at Kansas City Chiefs
6. Ezekiel Elliott, at Washington Redskins – They have an underrated defense but Zeke is matchup proof
7. Sony Michel, at Chicago Bears
8. Alvin Kamara, at Baltimore Ravens – We’re going to find out if Week 5 was just a bump in the road or not
9. Tarik Cohen, vs New England Patriots
10. Christian McCaffrey, at Philadelphia Eagles
11. Mark Ingram, at Baltimore Ravens
12. James White, at Chicago Bears
13. Nick Chubb, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The newly crowned starter for the Browns should be able to get off and running this week
14. Latavius Murray, at New York Jets – Don’t expect a repeat of last week but the volume is going to be there
15. LeSean McCoy, at Indianapolis Colts
16. T.J. Yeldon, vs Houston Texans
17. Tevin Coleman, vs New York Giants
18. Kerryon Johnson, at Miami Dolphins – I’m begging the Lions to not give most of the Theo Riddick role to Ameer Abdullah
19. Matt Breida, vs Los Angeles Rams
20. Jordan Howard, vs New England Patriots
21. Marlon Mack, vs Buffalo Bills
22. Corey Clement, vs Carolina Panthers – Clement should be fully healthy now and I think he leads the Philly committee if he is
23. Adrian Peterson, vs Dallas Cowboys
24. Peyton Barber, vs Cleveland Browns – The Browns haven’t been too tough on running backs and Barber is the clear lead dog if last week was any indication
25. Duke Johnson, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
26. Kenyan Drake, vs Detroit Lions – It’s a shame there’s no confidence to play him because the matchup is incredible
27. Alex Collins, vs New Orleans Saints
28. Wendell Smallwood, vs Carolina Panthers
29. Frank Gore, vs Detroit Lions – I wouldn’t be shocked if Gore scored more fantasy points in this spot
30. Austin Ekeler, vs Tennessee Titans
31. Ito Smith, vs New York Giants
32. Bilal Powell, vs Minnesota Vikings
33. Chris Thompson, vs Dallas Cowboys
34. Dion Lewis, vs Los Angeles Chargers
35. Isaiah Crowell, vs Minnesota Vikings
Wide Receiver – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Adam Thielen, at New York Jets
2. Tyreek Hill, vs Cincinnati Bengals
3. A.J. Green, at Kansas City Chiefs
4. Odell Beckham, Jr., at Atlanta Falcons – If Beckham and company can’t get it done here, it’ll be time to panic
5. Julio Jones, vs New York Giants – Lots of top flight receivers facing off this week
6. Robert Woods, at San Francisco 49ers
7. Michael Thomas, at Baltimore Ravens
8. Keenan Allen, vs Tennessee Titans
9. DeAndre Hopkins, at Jacksonville Jaguars – The Jaguars defense hasn’t been quite what we though in some spots
10. Brandin Cooks, at San Francisco 49ers
11. Mike Evans, vs Cleveland Browns – Evans has been quiet the past couple of games
12. Jarvis Landry, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
13. Stefon Diggs, at New York Jets – Keep an eye on the wind factor in this game
14. Golden Tate, at Miami Dolphins – He should see the least of Xavien Howard
15. Tyler Boyd, at Kansas City Chiefs
16. John Brown, vs New Orleans Saints
17. Alshon Jeffery, vs Carolina Panthers
18. Josh Gordon, at Chicago Bears – The breakout game is coming sooner than later
19. Devin Funchess, at Philadelphia Eagles
20. Julian Edelman, at Chicago Bears
21. Kenny Golladay, at Miami Dolphins
22. Chris Godwin, vs Cleveland Browns – He just keeps getting work in the red zone
23. Sterling Shepard, at Atlanta Falcons – Despite the glorious matchup, it’s hard to bank on Eli keeping both receivers afloat
24. Allen Robinson, vs New England Patriots
25. Michael Crabtree, vs New Orleans Saints
26. Marvin Jones, at Miami Dolphins
27. Jermaine Kearse, vs Minnesota Vikings – Someone has to catch the ball
28. Corey Davis, vs Los Angeles Chargers – If Marcus Mariota isn’t getting sacked, Davis likely has to deal with Casey Hayward
29. Willie Snead, vs New Orleans Saints – Revenge!!!
30. Taylor Gabriel, vs New England Patriots
31. T.Y. Hilton, vs Buffalo Bills – Welcome back to the lineup, T.Y. and good luck with Tre’Davious White on the other side
32. Sammy Watkins, vs Cincinnati Bengals
33. Calvin Ridley, vs New York Giants
34. DeSean Jackson, vs Cleveland Browns
Tight End – Fantasy Football Rankings
1. Travis Kelce, vs Cincinnati Bengals – He’s been my TE1 for a couple of weeks now
2. Zach Ertz, vs Carolina Panthers – He’s just a receiver masquerading as a tight end
3. Rob Gronkowski, at Chicago Bears – It’s really been a disappointing season for Gronk and the offense has even more mouths to feed than it did two weeks ago
4. David Njoku, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Much like the rest of the passing game, Njoku couldn’t draw a better matchup
5. George Kittle, vs Los Angeles Rams – The 49ers are going to have to score a bunch of points in this one and kittle should get his after a quiet week last week
6. Austin Hooper, vs New York Giants – Can the young tight end on the rise make it three straight weeks?
7. C.J. Uzomah, at Kansas City Chiefs – He’s the lone tight end for this team in a game that should be high scoring
8. Eric Eborn, vs Buffalo Bills – Will the return of Hilton make any difference for Ebron?
9. Trey Burton, vs New England Patriots – He’s been finding the end zone but not doing much else lately
10. O.J. Howard, vs Cleveland Browns – I’m not sure how anyone stops this guy
11. Jordan Reed, vs Dallas Cowboys – It’s been a very rough couple of weeks for Reed but it’s hard to bench him
12. Kyle Rudolph, at New York Jets – It’s hard to satisfy two receivers and a tight end every single week
14. Greg Olsen, at Philadelphia Eagles – He played every snap but didn’t do a ton last week
15. Cameron Brate, vs Cleveland Browns – Even a single touchdown catch from Jameis Winston like last week can make him viable
